The goal for this yearlong introduction to BOR is to create a lively and safe learning environment. We will offer a foundation of learning the theory through reading and discussing some of the seminal papers of BOR and through clinical presentation where we will think about ways to recognize and apply what we have been learning in the papers. We will also draw from movies and fiction as a means of illustrating the ideas from the broader human context.
Class size is limited to 12 participants.
Instructors: Sue Neell Carlson, PsyA; Rikki Ricard, LMHC, FIPA; Cristy Smith, LMHC
Sue and Rikki will be dividing the teaching of BOR 1 with Sue leading the fall term, Rikki leading the winter term and a blend of leadership in the Spring. Cristy will be consistently present in all classes as a co-instructor.
