My name is D. Michael Louderback and I’m a Seattle therapist who believes everything is relational and everything matters. I believe, from my own experience, that our issues and our problems and our pain occur for good reasons. I also believe that they arise within relational contexts; which is to say, the relationships we have with others and the relationship we have to our one-and-only selves. My task then? To create and hold an environment in which we can begin to get into relationship with not only one another, but with the unique, complex, paradox of your own heart and life and mind. For it is within this unfolding safe and private relationship in which change and deep transformation can best occur. I work well with all kinds of pain, but am specifically sensitive to working with LGBTQ+ issues, shame, depression, relational problems, identity, sexuality, erectile dysfunction, and anxiety. Check out my website at www.dmlouderback.org for my information. I am also available to other clinicians for consultation.
