Hi there. I think of therapy as a reparative, growth oriented process in which we can listen together to your mind and heart, exploring the nature of your sufferings and your joys. In doing so, we will spend time with the specific issues that brought you in for therapy and examine various aspects of your relationships in life. Relationships are important, including your relationship with yourself. Major life events, adjustments, and cultural influences can have profound impact as well, and each are well worth our time, attentiveness, and care.

I enjoy working with individual adults, adolescents, and children for all sorts of different reasons. I've also spent substantial time with Third Culture Kids and people considering cross-cultural matters. For children, my office is equipped for Play Therapy, and parent meetings become a valuable part of that process.

Special Populations:
Adolescents, Adults, Children
Insurance and Fee Information:

My appointments are 50 minutes in length. The fee per individual session is $120.00.

I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale fee openings for those with significant financial hardship. If you are seeking a reduced fee, please bring that to my attention when you contact me and we can agree on a price for the first session. In that first session we can then determine your ongoing rate.

The fees for counseling are to be paid at the beginning of each session. I accept cash and checks. If you have scheduled an appointment and you need to cancel, I ask that you do so at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you do not cancel 48 hours before your appointment, or you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged in full for that session.

I do not bill insurance directly, but some clients submit billing statements to their health plans to seek reimbursement. I am happy to provide these billing statements by request. You will need to check with your insurance company to determine your coverage. Some insurance companies will reimburse for therapy, and some will not.
