My Approach to Therapy

Transformation is always possible when one reaches out to the world!

I currently work as a Jungian Psychotherapist integrating Somatic Psychology, E.M.D.R. and Mindfulness into my clinical work. An ongoing focus in my practice is the mind AND body, and I have been successful in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. I express unconditional positive regard for all of my clients and approach therapy with genuine curiosity.

I utilize a much different approach than most therapists and have created a formula to listen in an entirely new way, leaving assumptions and agendas out the door. In using a phenomenological approach, I am a responsive, reflexive, and embodied counselor that allows for the performative aspect of the body to enter the therapeutic space. I work with the unconscious as an experience, rather than a thing and view the unconscious as performing all the time. In working together my clients, I notice any archetypal patterns that are active, and dialogue with the mythical figures that enter into the room because healing lies within fantasy and imagery.

I believe the therapy room can be a container for clients to explore their perceptions of the world around them and through this exchange, healing is made possible. When we are present with ourselves and for others creativity can blossom at its finest.
