The Alliance works thoughtfully to facilitate meaningful opportunities for the ongoing development of professionals throughout the Pacific Northwest who value psychoanalytic theory, knowledge, and practice.
Many courses are offered each Fall, Winter, and Spring by various Alliance members and other professionals from the wider psychoanalytic community. Alliance Education Committee sponsored courses generally require pre-enrollment and are offered as classes, seminars, or study groups.
The Education Committee encourages all Alliance members to consider offering a class, seminar, or study group in a professional area of interest. Co-chaired by Karen Weisbard and Jason Jost, the committee includes Eliza Baughn, Nicola Mucci, Peter Jabin, and Tanya Rukstuhl. If you would like to propose an educational event, please complete this form. If you have questions about leading an event, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All courses are to fit within the overall Alliance mission, to promote the understanding of psychoanalytic knowledge and practice.
Along with the Courses, the Education Committee works to coordinate Annual Mentoring Groups, an Annual Panajian Conference, a series of Foundational Courses, and online Study Guides. Check out the wide variety of compelling educational offerings.
