As the title implies, this course will be clinically focused and held in a case conference style. It is intended for students who see patients in psychotherapy, as we will be bringing material from our own work to present. We will supplement the presentations using an emergent curriculum model, in which the topics or issues that arise out of the clinical material are then the focus of assigned readings. This course is not intended to be supervision or consultation, but rather a vehicle for learning about diagnostic issues, thinking psychoanalytically, and developing interpretations. Some familiarity with the fundamentals of British Object Relations theory recommended.

This course will be taught by Ann Glasser, Ph.D. and Pamela van Dalfsen, Ph.D.

Class size limit is limited to 10 – sign up soon.
