This class will focus on the essential elements of British Object Relations theory, especially its clinical implications. Issues such as transference, countertransference, projective identification, container/contained and real self/false structures will be explored. Certain landmark papers will be read but the focus will be largely clinical and students will be encouraged to reflect on their own clinical experience in class.

The first part of the the class will be taught by Lisa Caldwell and David Parnes and the second half of the class will be taught by Lisa Caldwell and Barb Sewell.

Class size limit is limited to 12 – sign up soon!

When:
Starting September 29,
Classes will meet the second and fourth Tuesday of every month,
7pm to 8:30pm

Fees and Scholarships:
Before August 15th: $900 for members and $1,200 for non-members
After August 15th: $1000 for members, $1,350 for non-members
