Dreaming has always been at the heart of psychoanalytic work, but most of us can find it terribly daunting when we face the moment of experiencing a dream, whether recalling our own or listening to a patient's. We are pleased to present another co-sponsored event examining the intersection of race and psychotherapy on April 29, 2023 at 9am - 12pm (Seattle) / 12pm - 3pm (New York) / 5pm - 8pm (London). This online event will seek to build upon our initial co-sponsored Speaking About Race event that was held in January of 2021. Thinking Space was developed at the Tavistock Clinic in 2002 in order to promote thinking about racism and other forms of discrimination in the self and in the other.

This is a 6-week class on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8pm beginning on April 18, 2023 and ending on May 23, 2023
To ensure safety and accessibility for all participants, N95 or better masks will be required, and HEPA filters will be on. The talk will also be available in video and hard copy formats. It is the aim of the Forum, our annual conference and spring meeting, to share the experience, training, and expertise of the psychoanalytic community. The 33rd annual Forum will take place on April 15, 2023, and we are excited to welcome presentations on topics of interest to our members.
