This dialogue is about Bion, the man, the psychoanalyst, the theorist, the philosopher, an unassuming man with a lot to say, a fine sense of humor, a deep stillness amid deep turmoil; one whose “sins remembered” reverberate through a panoply of feelings for the reader. The dialogue will begin between two practitioners, an experienced psychoanalyst with deep connections to Bion’s thinking, and a psychologist, with younger roots in Bion . Although the dialogue begins between two, it is hoped that it will soon grow to a broad conversation among many.
