Join me for a Film Study Group!

Each week we will read an article on early emotional growth and development, meet together to watch a film, and enjoy a discussion focused on emotional development and growth in the primary film characters. We will explore how characters grow and relate to one another over time, and how the article we've read might inform our understanding of the characters' psyche.

This is a study group where we can learn communally by dreaming, imagining, feeling and thinking together. Film is an interesting medium to use for study, removed from our work and offering us a different experience of a story, one that is often lively and rich, involving many of our senses, but without the need to necessarily ‘do’ anything.  In our discussion we can then bridge this world of film with our analytic minds and extend our thinking together.  More info to come on specific films.

Physical space is limited to about 8-10 group members. Tea and popcorn provided.
