About

Currently I am not taking new patients.  When my availabiity changes, I will be offering only in-person appointments. I have been in practice for over 35 years, gaining my early experience at Seattle Mental Health Institute (now Sound Mental Health), where I worked from 1982 to 1994, starting as an intern and ending my tenure as Program Director of Adult Therapy Services.  I opened my private practice in 1994, and co-founded Wallingford Counseling & Consultation in 2009, working with individuals and couples. I completed the certificate program in the Clinical Theory and Practice of Psychodynamic Therapy, and have over 325 hours of Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Trainings with the PACT Institute, treating couples using the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy.  I am an approved supervisor for LMHCAs seeking state licensure. I have a passion for mentoring therapists working in clinic settings and in private practice, both through individual consultation and through the Alliance Mentor Program.
