I moved to Seattle from the East Coast to pursue my graduate training, culminating in the earning of a Master's degree in Existential-Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University. I have spent the past couple years in a community mental health setting where I worked primarily with teenagers and parents in individual psychotherapy. In addition to practicing therapy, I am also a researcher who is involved in a number of projects that seek to offer a better understanding of different facets of the human experience. Right now, I'm working on a project exploring the experience of envy.

I see teenagers and adults who are struggling with social issues, family conflict, experiencing a crisis, or just having a tough time. As co-founder and psychotherapist at Inside Out Therapy Alliance, I work with people to help them to heal and gain a better understanding of themselves and their lives. A strong, trusting client-therapist relationship is the cornerstone of my approach to therapy. We'll explore your past and present experiences, dreams, and the here-and-now experiences we have in therapy to come to a better understanding of you and your life. Providing a safe, welcoming place where we can work together to explore important issues is of the utmost importance to me. My work with you will be with an attitude of openness and curiosity rather than judgment. Therapy will always be catered to who you are and what your needs entail.

Throughout my education, training, and work with a wide variety of clients, I have become especially interested and experienced in:

  • Helping clients to work through trauma
  • Anxiety-related issues like panic attacks, trouble sleeping or concentrating, etc.
  • Dealing with violence and bullying
  • Helping with transitions (e,g, the transition from middle to high school, high school to college, or to a new job)
  • Problems with body image and eating
  • Sexual trauma
  • Depression and its many manifestations: isolation, lack of motivation, hopelessness
