About

My practice is informed by an integrative psychodynamic approach and a wide range of experience working in various settings (therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical program manager at non-profit community mental health agencies, a psychiatric hospital, various academic settings, along with community outreach, and in my private practice). My training is psychodynamic & I am highly influenced by the interpersonal/relational, object relational, self psychology, attachment-based, multicultural, and narrative approaches. In addition to having worked in various settings with a wide range of mental health issues (from adjustment disorder to acute psychosis), my specialties include working with male, Asian American, minority, multicultural/crosscultural, & spiritual/existential concerns.

Insurance and Fee Information:

I offer individual therapy sessions for adolescents and adults. If desired, I offer an initial free 20 minute in-person or phone consultation. Sessions are weekly, at 50 minutes each. The rate is $180 per session. I also reserve reduced fee rates for clients undergoing financial hardship on a limited basis. I am an in-network provider paneled with Premera, LifeWise, First Choice Health (services Kaiser PPO plans), and Regence. Otherwise, if your insurance policy provides you with out-of-network reimbursement for therapy, a monthly bill of services is available upon request.
