Peter will explore the issue of time in relation to psychoanalytic therapy, especially related to psychological and therapeutic growth. Clinical material will be discussed to help illustrate how time is necessary for ego development, anxiety tolerance, and coming into an honest depressive position. Various other issues will be considered, including the relationship of time to grief and loss, and the relationship of time with what Freud termed the “reality principle.”

Fee: Free to members, $20 non-members, $10 for CEUs, special membership price of $35 for those present are new to membership in COR
