Potential Space Community Collage - A Community Creative Event
February 7 from 1pm-3:30pm in Edmonds, WA
As we begin to plan and prepare for renewing our much loved art event: Potential Space, we invite you to come together and participate in an afternoon of creativity and collaboration as we create a Community Collage Art Installation, which will be featured at Potential Space Art Show on November 14th 2026.
We will gather at a community art center in Edmonds, WA and each of us will create our own unique collage art square. Each square will be joined together to form a collaborative artwork celebrating our collective creativity. Just as a community is formed through the presence of many individuals, each individual art piece will come together to form a collaborative piece.
No artistic experience needed. College is a generous art form, often created from torn paper, recycled materials, and found fragments. There is no wrong or right away to assemble a collage and ‘mistakes’ often lead to new possibilities and creative discovery.
All collage supplies will be provided. If you have favorites or want to share your supplies feel free to bring them along. We ask that you bring home any left over supplies!
Tea and coffee will be provided along with light snacks.
This is a free event, but to help us with supplies, Registration is required and the address to the event will be provided upon registration.
