Personality from a Psychoanalytic Perspective

Tuesday, March 1, 2016 7:30pm to 9:00pm
Elana Kupor's Office
North Lake Union Neighborhood
Seattle, WA
Sponsored by:
Alliance

4 Tuesday evenings, March 1, 8, 15, 22

As Nancy McWilliams so eloquently writes in her classic book, Psychoanalytic Diagnosis, all of us are a little nuts. The only question is: "(1) How nuts? and (2) nuts in what particular way?"

In this study group, we will continue reading Psychoanalytic Diagnosis (2nd edition)  to  discuss paranoid, masochistic, obsessive and compulsive, and hysterical (histrionic) personalities. All are welcome; people new to Psychoanalytic Diagnosis may want to prepare by reading some of the introductory chapters about conceptual issues.
